Hellcat FX started as a passion and love for makeup effects.

I have been in love with makeup effects since about second grade. My first Halloween makeup was the cigarette ash from the ashtrays around the house growing up. My only thought being, “This will make me look dead, right?”.

With the support of my Dad, it really blossomed from there and makeup effects became my whole life. Every year I wanted my Halloween makeups to be bigger and better. It got to the point where I was going to school on a random Tuesday as whatever character it could imagine for the day.

I was determined to produce the best work. A philosophy I still hold today.

I went to the Kosart school in Westmont, IL under the direction of J. Anthony Kosar and Anna Cali. This really opened a ton of opportunities for me. I am thankful for their support and encouragement.
